About Us

We are simply a group of people who are fed up with the the progressive power-grabbing of our current government, and we're ready to take our country back from those who are trying to destroy it.

"We are people who are addicted to liberty..."

We are sickened by this endless tirade of progressivism and socialism, and we won't stand for having our freedoms taken away from us.We are people who are addicted to liberty, and want Uncle Sam to step back within the careful boundaries set by the wise founders of our country.

While the politicians have continued to ignore the overwhelming will of the people who are demanding less government encroachment, and less government control of our lives, they will have no choice but to listen soon. We Americans have been asleep, but we have woken up to the fact that we are losing all that our ancestors fought for. We didn't get to be the most powerful country in the world by letting others walk all over us and tell us what to do. Why are we letting Washington do this to us now? We are standing up, pulling ourselves back up by the bootstraps, and taking back our country!

We are working together to remind our neighbors of the amazing, successful government our Founders created with God's help, and of the natural law upon which our once great nation was founded. We are inviting God back into our community and our country once again, to be the rock on which this nation stands.

With the tumultuous times we have begun to experience, God's people can do much to help us return to being the kind of people we are expected to be.

Throughout Oscoda County and the rest of Michigan, we must insist that the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of a coercive Federal Government get out of our faces and return to the very limited and specific powers given to them by the constitution.

The Founders were right when they insisted that the government that governs best, is the government that is closest to the people. They considered strong local self-government to be the golden key to preserving freedom. They believed that responsibility flowed up from the individual to the family, to the neighborhood, to the township, to the county, to the town, to the state, and as a last resort to the central government.

We believe we are capable of thinking for ourselves. We are capable of helping and watching out for others in our own communities. We who live and work in our community know much better what is best for our community than power hungry tyrants in their ivory tower in the capitol. And we are not going to sell our liberties for the convenience of giving up our responsibilities.

We stand together, and with God's help, we will return to our foundations as a nation living under God's authority. We will return to a form of government which is of the people, by the people, and for the people - not of the government, by the government, and for the government.

What does 912 mean?

912 refers to the nine principals and twelve values on which our organization is based:

The Nine Principles

  1. America is good.
  2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
  3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
  4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
  5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
  6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
  7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
  8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
  9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
